Welcome to the 16th Annual WILSONS EVANS HEAD FISHING CLASSIC. Wilson, the fishing tackle specialist, has once again acquired the naming rights of the Event. They will be supplying a wide range of quality fishing equipment as prizes during the competition as well as sponsoring the “Barefoot” bowls day.
We have changed direction with our major prize this year, and have accepted sponsorship from Ireland Honda Lismore & Ballina, who are supplying a Honda CRV Wagon.
Waeco Fridges are also on board this year with 7 fridges for our nightly prize draws.

In our continual quest to make our competition one of the most fish friendly events
in Australia, last year we introduced a limit to the total number of days that entrants
can weigh-
Once again, Sue & her little group of helpers will be busy organising the “Ladies Breakfast” There will be some great prizes and, as this is a charity fund raiser, it is not restricted to entrants. Ladies are encouraged to bring along female friends. Last year was a great success raising money for Breasy Cancer.
This year we have again introduced a “Cadets Comp.” to fill the age gap between the Junior and Senior events. This will be restricted to boys & girls between the age of 13 and 17 and will be run over Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

All competitors who cannot make the live presentation are required to view the video and be signed off.
A big thank you to all the committee for their time and effort they put in throughout the year, a special thank you to Jaco & Wes for their effort in travelling to meetings. Also a big thank you to all sponsors large and small without your sponsorship the Classic would not survive.
